Kate and Jacob met the modern way by swiping right on Hinge in 2022! Their first date was a long couple of weeks in the making-they had a date set and Kate got COVID and the date got pushed back to the next week. If you ask them, it was worth the wait, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.


A few of Kate and Jacob’s favorite memories from their time together: attending concerts and festivals, enjoying time outdoors, cheering on their favorite sports teams, and their countless margarita and queso dates.

Jacob proposed to Kate after dating for 2 years at Cedar Lake Cellars. Kate thought they were going to have a cute date night. After dinner Jacob asked to take a walk around the lake at the winery, in Kate fashion she said, “Only if I can bring some wine.” Halfway around the lake Jacob stopped, took Kate’s wine, put it down on a bench and got down on one knee. Needless to say, Kate said yes!
